Here is a link to an example of what I used on ebay. You'll have to measure so you can buy the proper amount, but it's a very simple and cheap mod.

Just type 'expanded metal mesh' into the search bar on ebay and you'll be able to choose from a vast amount of patterns, sizes, and thicknesses.

Did the grill mod today. A few weeks ago I sprayed the grill black and I wanted to add a little silver back. Found a company on ebay that sold all aluminum grill inserts for $29.99. I couldn't be more happy with the kit he sent out. Good directions and everything included. Way cheaper than if I designed it myself and bought all the parts.

I'm building a custom grille inserts... I'm using a set of Rugged Ridge grille inserts but I adding mess to the back of them. I hope to have them molded tomorrow. I'm doing a write up/how-to on it. Hopefully I can finish them up tomorrow.
