Default Finally used mine...

I built mine a few years ago, but never used it since I was able to store my hardtop flat on a pallet in a warehouse. But in my new location, the pallet won't fit through some doorways.

So I used my cart, and it was great! I have to admit I didn't trust it at first, wondering if the front edge should rest on or behind the front 2x4. I've seen it done both ways on the forum, but I put mine behind the 2x4. It set right in and was super stable and easy to move around. Even took it up a passenger elevator.

Do y'all use your carts to store your hard top all winter? Any warping issues?

Personally the Hardtop is on all winter and off all summer, but no warping issue.

Well doing this mod but changing it up a bit. Using PVC. I still have to go by harbor freight for some casters and a strap to attach to the top like the hoss cart.

$36.18 for materials at Home Depot and I can't wait to use it and put the soft top up.

Wow!!! Just took my hardtop off last weekend and put my soft top on. Was very disappointed at how much space my top took up in my storage unit. Just found this and will build this weekend. Looks like a great idea!!
