Turned out great!!! Yeah i will admit it does take a while to get the bends right, it's not easy, but it's a lot better than spending a ton if your on a budget! Glad you enjoyed the video and idea. Please check out my other YouTube videos or subscribe to the channel, JK gear and gadgets.

Default Garden hose variant

I used heavy duty craftsman black rubber garden hose (25ft-cost 25 dolalrs)... I trimmed the fenders found a couple cheap leds for the lights and went to work on it. I also painted the fenders Blue with Krylon fusion max- paint to match a blue thing I have going on with the jeep (wife is legally blind, and wants bright colors on it so she can not go to the wrong suv in the parking lots. The bright blues sets it off for her to see).

I used your video for some of the trimming ideas, and kind of found the cut I wanted.

So my instructions would be different in that after trimming and painting the flares, I sliced the hose down the middle and used a strong glue to fill the hose. I slipped them in place it dried unmovable, it was very tight without glue. The rubber hose is a nice buffer from the paint and the bends were easy. Very happy with the results!

I did get them dirty before taking a lot of pics... but you still get the idea. I will need to clean the jeep and take some better ones...
