Default License plate mount when using a Hawe fairlead

Everybody knows the Maglite mount trick when using a roller fairlead:

But you have to get creative when you run a Hawse. Last week I decided I wanted to shorten up the nose of my Jeep and the Warn 73850 seemed like the way to go:

After putting it on:

(Notice the double-chin is gone? Always hated that damned crossmember.)
I started thinking about what to do with the plate. I decided to bend up a couple of brackets and use the bolts on the sides of the winch that hold the crossbar:

Since the control box is mounted on the port side it wasn't necessary to radius the one corner. I used one set of the holes I'd drilled when I installed the Mag mount. The other set I just plugged with the bolts I'd used then, too.

That's it. I like things simple.

I used your idea over my fairlead. I like the security of having my plate bolted on.
Thx for posting
