Default Looking for a 2 1/2" Budget lift - 2013 Jeep Wrangler

Looking to lift my stock Jeep about 2 1/2". Have installed 28575R16's on already but need a few more inches as I've bumped by flares a few times. Been looking thru right-ups, e-bay, 4WD, etc and have found some kits around $200 but now and again see notes about exhaust extensions...I have the 3.6L which seems to be the one with that note on some kits. Can anyone point me to a decent lift kit that i would achieve 2 1/2" of addt'l lift without adding the exhaust extensions? If not, how difficult are they to install?
Hoping to install this kit myself, im not a mechanic but pretty handy on the cars and can read instructions, etc.
Any help out there?

Thx

Just a friendly heads up. You posted in the write up forum, you will receive more help if you post in the modified JK tech forum. Also there are some stickies (threads permanently placed at the top by moderators) in that section. You should through that, it will answer many of the basic questions folks have.

I have the Rough Country 2.5in Jeep Series II Suspension Lift Kit ($179.99) and have no complaints yet. It took my brother in law and I about 4 hours to complete the install and was fairly straight forward. The directions are good and we also installed Teraflex 1.5 wheel spacers. Rough Country has a lift kit that is $139.99 that does not include the rear track bar relocation bracket. Both kits will clear up to 35" tires. Hope this helps.
