Make sure when installing final check on left and right switch placement. You dont want the left switch to heat the passemger seat. plus you dont have to place switches where I did- it may look cooler but an extra 30-45 min of work.

Yo DBB,
Awsome mod. This will get pushed up my list of things to get done.
side question:
what is that slick tool you used in the pick where you are popping off the top of the center consule. Looks like it would work a hell of alot better than what i use. I try to be careful, but it seems like every time i pull the consul out i have another scratch from where i pried it off.
thanks bud!

These are the tools I use the most when taking things apart. the 2 tools on the left are great for peaking and pulling - the 4 little ones is a pick set and the left is a panel popper.

Ozmonkey,
The website I ordered mine from now shows a numbered dial switch so you can adjust the amount of warmth. Think thats what you were asking about. I'm new to the forum so I don't want to violate any rules, but if you do a websearch for heated seats you will find them.

I wouldnt have the guts to do that myself but I will have to check into some local shop doing it for me!
I like how the switches flip up, you can leave them on and they will be nice and warm if you have a remote start like on GM cars, Fords do not work like that :(

Im going to install the remote start next week- still waiting for it to get a little colder.
But when the morning chill comes along- its great to have the seats nice and warm.
Out of all my mods- this is the one I like the most.

The Snap On guy must love you.
Did you just steal a whole truck or did you sell your soul to the Snap On guy....
Great write ups. I am not sure which to tackle first but they will be very useful when I do... Thanks for taking time to show the rest of us what is possible.
