Greetings from a fellow NC Jeeper. Thanks for the excellent write up and video! I have an aging Trektop NX and am considering this top as a replacement. I'm curious about the positions of the top. Does the sun slider slide all the way back or just halfway? Rugged Ridge lists a lot of positions the top is capable of, and most of the "Full Down" and "Full Retract" make little sense to me. In short, I'm wondering how difficult it is to go full or mostly topless for an open air feeling?
4-Door Top Positions
Full Up (closed)
Full Down (rear tailgate)
Full Down (over soundbar)
Windows Out
Full Safari (summer top)
Sun Slider Safari Top (summer top)
Mid Retract Safari Top (sun slider position)
Full Retract Safari Top (sun slider position)
Full Down (mid retract sun slider position)
Full Down (full retract sun slider position)
EDIT: Did some research and found most of that info in the installation guide from Rugged Ridge here. Seems like it is pretty easy for the sun slider to go all the way back.

Yes, it's not too bad. I slide the front to the roll bar most of the time and just leave the backseats and rear storage covered. I then tuck the the two back pieces that hold the back window up into the rear bow (attached to the roll bar). It looks good, kind of like leaving the trek top on and removing the side and rear windows.
I'm busy with Father's day activities this weekend, but I hope to make a video showing the various postilions real soon!

I notice on Rugged Ridge's site that they mention this - "Requires soft top header - not included." I'm ready to get this through Extreme Terrain, but I don't currently have a soft top at all so I'm guessing I don't have a soft top header?

You will need the following parts from a soft top:
Header - 68003646AA
Tailgate Bar - 55395757AC
Tailgate Bar Retainer, RH - 55395760AB
Tailgate Bar Retainer, LH - 55395761AB
If you can get a used top for cheap that is my first suggestion, even if the top is bad. Just be sure all these parts listed above are included.
Quadratec sells these if you need new:
