I'll try to get a better pic later. The sun is not in the right place and my neighbors yard is muddy with new grass growing and he's an ass about being anywhere near his lawn no matter what.

i like the look of the basket mounted sideways - does that help wth wind noise at all?

ugh - spring not attached to top
So when i opened the box to the top - the one spring fell out of the box... I didn't by it new myself but the top was new and unopened from the factory... I am thinking i can reattach the spring to the cable. If not I hope rugged ridge can help! I guess this will test out their customer service!

The best way to reduce the flapping is to tighten the Velcro straps to the rack as tight as possible, especially the fronts. They should tighten the fabric up close to the rack.
I added the LoadWarrior extension to the rack with the wind deflector up front. It moved the front of the basket forward to the front edge of the rack and actually diverts the wind up front of the top downward instead of bubbling it up while going down the road.
On a side note:
I think the front section could use a bow going across underneath to help prevent rain water from pooling on the top.

flapping against the rack and buffeting are pretty bad... The velcro straps that hold the top to the rack are as tight as they can get, there is no more velcro to use...
Ignore the window roll - trying to find a good place to keep it so it is out of the way - this sport is not working.

What I have done is use a large beach towel and roll the window up in it then I lay it across the front side of the rear fender wells against the back seat. The tailgate bar is long enough to let it sit there nicely.
There will always be some flapping against the rack as the rack is pretty close to whole top in general. Mine gets bad on high wind days no matter how fast or slow I go.

Well I will never purchase another rugged ridge product... Their customer service is horrible. They only work thru email and it takes 2 days to get a reply. Been emailing back and forth for 2 weeks now because the plastic 90' piece that goes into the door surround is only stitched on one side. Today they email me they do t have the product for me to purchase. Why the F$&@ would I purchase it. This is a manufacturing problem! They suck!!!!!!
