Got this done a couple weeks ago. I kinda messed up the button placement and have it inline with the ignition instead of away like the OP lol. On the other hand I actually like my goof up because if i want to start it with the button then all I have to do is push my knuckle a bit more forward to make contact. Works great. Thanks for the write up!

Default Works!

I just wanted to bump in and say thanks for posting this! It worked perfectly. I just used a simple butt splice and found a nearby ground. Thanks again!!

Don't have a remote start presently, waiting on https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modi...0-ebay-295330/ to come in.

This thread is so you don't have to push in the clutch to start a manual transmission vehicle. No remote start or anything fancy needed. The TJ had a module by your feel you could simply unplug as per their instructions. The JK doesn't have anything like this so this thread exists.

That's what I was wondering if the $100 ebay remote start would work with this mod. if so ill be ordering as soon as someone tests.

Geez, and all this time I was just pushing the clutch in with my hand so I didn't have to climb in to start it! ;-)
