I took it slow and did it over the course of a week...doing a little here and there throughout the week after work in the garage...key with this is to take you time. If you weld, it will take more time as it's a slow process. I welded the seams on mine and used plastic scraps to weld/fill in gaps I had.
Note...after I did mine - first wheelin trip out I smacked a small tree with the driver side of the bumper...the end held on perfectly and didn't fall off! The rivets really hold it together like crazy!

Love this mod man. Could you post some up close pics on how your winch sits on the factory bumper. I dont want to go aftermarket because of the minivan engine and added weight. Did you have to cutout the bumper for the winch?

I just picked up a 2nd bumper this week and will most likely be starting the chop this weekend.........even though I think I'm going the "Woods" route with heating and folding the ends around instead of rivets. I'll take pics
EDIT: OK.......it went poorly. Luckily I did it on the bumper I was going to toss in the trash anyway. You will never see the pics!
I will be cutting and riveting pretty much just like is posted above. Hopefully I won't screw that up as well
