Did you measure 2.25 from the back and front of bumper from bump

Cool mod! I did something similar with mine before replacing them. Rather than screwing the cut down parts back together, I plastic welded them and covered it all with a rattle can bed liner as well. The rear was cut down to fit the Bushwacker flares. I wanted them to appear as if they could have come from the factory like that.

That looks great, you cant tell it's not factory!

Great job on all the pics in the thread.... I'm still partial to yanking the plastic off and making a stubby out of the frame beneath it. Gives it that rugged edge

I actually like this design.. after seeing a few failed attempts.. this one is very clean and uses what one has to work with.. very professional looking and way different than the rest.

Using the measurements that you did were you able to keep the factory mounts where the plastic cover bolts to the metal bumper?
