The in/out will be fairly easy and you should be able to use two of the relay contacts to replace the buttons on the controller (or parallel them in for an either/or control). The on/off will be a little different as you will need a larger switching device but it will work the same as a relay so I think the schematic will hold up well to the re-purposing.

For the winch power I will be using a solenoid to turn the power on and off instead of one of the relays. The switch will just activate the solenoid.

That is one very nice set up, I wish I had the time to put something like that together. Just not going to happen at this point in my life, I just bought one.
But yours is very nice.

that looks so bad ass! i have to say that this was the cooest, most in depth, well designed, and most detailed write-up I have ever seen on any forum.
geez. its almost inspirational. almost, bc im scared to even consider wiring something like that! haha.

Hi jay sorry I wasn't trying to spam anything. Please delete my post please I don't know much about forums.
All I did followed Pvanweelden directions to make he videos to make it easy for people to make the thing. I gave the full credit to him and the others.
