I'd like to see a pic of the sub mounted between the rear facing and 2nd row. I'm thinking of doing the same thing.

My seat will be here Saturday (according to my FedEx Tracking Number)!!!

Mine were delayed, the powder coat guy was running behind.

I need to buy a drill bit, wonder what size.

Got my seat put in this weekend. Between the instructions they send and this write up, piece of cake! Thanks for the write up. Kids love the seat.

Amazingly well. Some subtle differences, but you have to be looking for them to notice. From the pictures it appears there is a little difference between the shade of gray, but I really haven't noticed that until I posted these pics!

Here are the pics. No pics of the install, see the OP's install, his write up is great.

Boy, the match on the seat fabric is great.

By the way, after a year installed, one of the lower seat belt bolts vibrated loose a bit. I'm not sure why, since it was a self-locking nut. Anyway, I put a little blue loc-tite on it & tightened it back up. You may want to check your out.

They do match great.

I will definitely keep an eye out on the bolts.

Thanks for your write up. The color photo's make the install a lot easier.

Sorry for the delay in posting this. I attached pics of my seat installed rear facing and the new subwoofer location. Short version is that I lengthened the subwoofer wiring approx 24 inches and ran it through the carpet by the seat belt for the rear seat. The rear-facing Little Seat has exactly enough room to place the subwoofer between it and the origonal rear seat. It's snug, but not overly tight. It is not bolted in there. When the Little Seat is removed, the sub can be bolted back into the stock location with the origonal mounting nuts. Takes about 2 minutes to reconfigure from one position to the other.

Here's pics:

Little Seat with relocated subwoofer between back seat and the rear-facing Little Seat.

View of subwoofer placment and orientation with origonal rear seat folded down.

Extended wiring harness routed through carpet where rear seat belt mount is located.

Seat views after relocating subwoofer (rear facing configuration).

Hope this helps ya'

Thumbs up

Thanks for the great pics. I think I'll end up doing the same thing. I'd rather have them wedged between the seats than gathering dust in my garage.
