Uconnect cover plate
Ok so I saw someone else's screen cover and made my own. I didn't like the idea of putting Velcro on my dash so I took a small 1/8inch piece of metal and bent it at 90 degree angle with just enough for it to sit on the edge of the screen.
Then I cut a 1/8 plexiglass to 8 1/2in by 4in. I then lined it up where I wanted it on the screen and marked where the volume knob is and drilled a 3/4in hole. Then JB weld to mend the 2 pieces together and sanded to make a smooth finish so you can't tell its 2 pieces. Then put multiple layers of black primer. I am going to add a jeep decal to match the interior later it almost matches the dash color.
