I believe it is working well. I used it over the weekend and had 90+ temperatures. It works well, I'm definitely happy with it. I have not added any of the sensors.

Where it could be improved is with outside temperatures of 70 degrees and the sun out, it doesn't keep up too well with the interior temperature while in auto mode (temp set at 68 and feels warmer in cabin).

I have purchased this sensor to see if it helps in the above situation.

SENSOR. Temperature Cabin Air. Stock Code 55111178AC

I have no idea where it goes. If any one has an idea please let me know.

I totally meant to add this option to my '12 Rubi... So, I'm very interested in the final results.

I guess with the auto-start, it's supposed to automatically turn on heat/ defrost / AC etc depending on conditions.

It might be nice to talk to someone who uses a factory installed version to see if your experience is the same..

Now you also had to obviously change your temp control knobs etc as well correct? Or is that part of the sensor assembly?

The knobs are all part of the ATC control unit.

I was installing my CB and noticed what also looks like some kind of sensor by the tailgate next to the latch! Here's a pic.

I posted some pics of the ATC wiring over in this thread. It looks like you'd have to splice some wires to get the sensor to work with the ATC unit.

Well, it's not a sensor. I have the factory-installed ATC controls, and there's nothing behind that trim panel. I have a soft top though. Maybe it's related to the washer mechanism for the hard top.
