Let's Light it Up!!!!
I wanted to add some lights to the rear of the cargo basket for Safety reasons, to help avoid unwanted rear ending since the basket sticks out quite a bit from the rear of the JK.
I decided the easiest and most functional trailer lighting option for the cargo basket was to get a LED "Light Strip" or also known as a "Firing Strip". These usually come in 2 length options (49" or 60"), this one is the shorter 49" which is about perfect for this cargo basket. The one that I purchased has 5 functions. Most of them I seen in the auto parts stores are only 4 function, where they're missing the "Reverse" lighting function.
5 Functions:
1. Running/Parking Lights
2. Right Turn Signal
3. Left Turn Signal
4. Brake Lights
5. Reverse
