Thanks again for the previous pics and ideas. Will keep you guys posted on rest of install. Still need to relocate evap canister. Install 2.5 gallon air tank were evap was. Run 3/8 line thru frame and plumb in rear and front couplings.

Looks good man! The brackets don't have to be super clean looking to work... They just have to work! Haha. I have just gotten kind of anal about my fab work over the years and it's really helped me out.

My overflow tank is really tight as well. Just out of curiosity... How much $ are you going to have in your whole system?

Thanks...i, probably have less than 150. Had a 2.5 tank from a friend, and compression fittings. running john guest line threw the frame. Pressure rating on that type of line 3/8 is 230 psi burst is 2 times that. Going good today didnt rain. Relocated.evap under rear axle. Going to build a skid for 2.5 tank. Have 4x8 sheet of 3/16ths laying around so id figure use it lol. Totally beats. The 1300 dollar.price range like other kits on the market. Best thing about it four bolts out and bracket and pump is out completely.

Well got the york plumbed in and no leaks still need to clean up the area...wires and such but right now working good. Installed 2.5 gallon tank under my 2 door jk. Ran only one quick connect to front bumper. Have a 15 foot hose so can access back of jeep from front no problem. York fills the tank to 150 psi in roughly less than 30 seconds or less. Pressure switch is 120/150 psi. Ran 3/8 copper to manifold then to tank ran about 2 feet of 3/8 copper because it ran near exhaust manifold. Heres some pics.

Default New bracket with Sketchup file

Hey guys.... Just wanted to make an update on here.

I slightly re-designed the bracket as a universal bracket. I have tried a few different pulleys on my compressor with this new bracket and it will fit up to a 7" (O.D.) pulley with different offsets. This should cover MOST pulleys found on any york in the junkyard. One that I know will NOT work is (as far as I know) off of a Ford. It has a giant weight on the peramiter of the pulley and makes the pulley too big to fit where it needs to go. I thought I could find a pic online of one but You'll have to wait till I get back to my shop to take a pic of the one I have.

Anyway.... For those of you inclined...... here is a SketchUp file of the bracket. The braces and tensioner are the same as the old bracket so you can reference the old pics for those.

If the link doesn't work PM me with your email and I can send it to you that way.

Quick question, I am about to finally install my setup. Did you guys put the suction line into the factory air box, it does it have it's own filter?

That's my bracket. I'm not a welder and just haven't been able to get together with a friend who is, so I ended up bolting this all together. It's surprisingly strong, with the only flex coming from the 1/4" back plate. I'm going to add a piece of angle iron to stiffen the back up and I should be ready to mount it all. Wish me luck.

Mine has a tube connected to the suction side and runs up towards the hood and has its own little k&n style filter on it. I have an airaid intake so there's no way to run it to that filter without drilling unwanted wholes in the tube. But you can definitely run to the factory air box if you wanted to. Just make sure you are sucking in the clean filtered air. Not prefiltered.
