King of the Hammers Special Event

Back in January I received a Facebook message from Friend and Forbidden Jeeps Owner/Admin Doug Povee asking if JK-Forum would be interested in a collaborated event helping out the Military Veterans from 4Wheel 2 Heal at this years King of the Hammers. As most members forum members now know, the mission of JK-Forum is to earn a reputation as the forum that promotes and supports unity in and among the jeep community. So lending a hand and helping out a peer forum was a natural fit. And as is normally the case with the Off Road community, several other communities and sponsors lent a hand in helping out our countries true hero's. In addition to the two forums the following all helped pull together to help feed, chauffeur, and spend time explaining race builds (Epic Addictions, Poison Spyder Customs, GenRight).

The guys from 4Wheel 2 Heal came from all over the USA to spend a week out at Hammertown. Here's some of the group after setting up their base camp in Hammertown.

Thursday evening dinner was on JK-Forum (via Internet Brands) and Epic Addictions.

Some of us got a pit tour of the Rebel Off Road/Holy Moly Racing buggy.

Thanks to Internet Brands we didn't come empty handed as hats, banners and decals where given to the 4W2H group to pass out at their booth.

It's really incredible to see how a city is build out in the middle of the desert for the weeks of King of the Hammers!

Friday we took the Warriors (4W2H) guys out to the obstacles along the KOH race route.

Friday Night the crew and Rebel Off Road fed the Warriors as well as the JK-Forum crew. And after a full day of racing Bond Owner of Rebel Off Road and Copilot of the race buggy spent time with the warriors! Thanks again Rebel especially Taylor for making this happen and feeding us!
