just the gas money it takes to get there lol. No trail fees. just get a good set of maps. You have to have an off road permit on an atv or motorcycle that is not legally plated but in a jeep nothing as long as it is licensed. You can even camp for free. We camped 3 nights in our jeeps.

yes it is a great trail. I can't wait to go back and hit a few more trails in the area. Not sure why but the first link is not showing videos the second does.

This Friday and Sat we are going to the little belts to explore and then to run the middle fork... 28 river crossings in 10 miles! We will be at the trailhead at 9:30 Sat. morning! About 6 of us from Billings and one or two from missoula!

My Dad is coming over Friday morning.... and meeting near Harlowtown. My son and his family are coming Friday night after work and meeting at the Judith River ranger station where a group of us are staying. My son's xj is unmistakable... 8 inch lift and red... tire on roof... he is in school in Missoula. It has to be one of the biggest xj'x in town- lol!
