Phenomenal endeavor. Thank you very much for sharing!
When and where is your next overland adventure? If you have room for another Jeep, I'd enjoy tagging along at some point in the future.

Anyone who's interested in the trails, two of them are in Wells' "Moab Backroads and 4WD Guide". Those would be Gateway-to-Moab and White Rim Trail. The rest was put together by the fellow driving the Xterra, primarily using the "Utah Gazeteer". We also were carrying some of the NatGeo Trails Illustrated maps. These are excellent quality maps--I know we had them for Canyonlands, Moab South and Grand Canyon East. There were others, too, but I didn't pay that close attention. Finally, I personally use Backcountry Navigator Pro running on my Nexus 7. I downloaded the area maps in advance, and added waypoints primarily to identify landmarks along our route.
If anyone is interested in the .gpx files with our route as recorded by Backcountry Navigator Pro, PM me an e-mail address and I will send it to you. You can drop that into Google Earth to view the route, or most any decent GPS will let you set it up as a route to follow--I'd recommend you not bother with this unless you have topo maps on your GPS. If you're running an Android Phone, Backcountry Navigator is available as a free download. But, I don't know if the free version allows import/export of .gpx files.
