Default Red River, N.M.

We joined a group of friends for a weekend of wheeling in Red River, N.M., a few weeks ago. I'm still putting together the trail videos, but here's a little piece on the town and its history.

Maybe my brain isn't working right now, but what's HDW?

I'm finally starting to have enough time to edit some of my trail footage. Here are some highlights from Pioneer Creek Trail:

Gotcha. We're Panhandle (TX) Jeep Coalition. Saw a lot of Texas folks on the trails that weekend.

My very soggy report from the Greenie Peak trail, which I'm told is the highest elevation in New Mexico accessible to vehicles.

Here are a couple more. On the way down from Greenie Peak (video above), we took a longer bypass trail that was a little more fun than the leisurely drive we'd had up the mountain.

http://youtu.be/elwQfTfQzK4 Not all our outings were long trails up the side of a mountain. Here's Middlefork Lake Trail, a little one-mile pathway to the trailhead of a hiking trail.
