    Hi Mark -

Thanks for the information. I originally got into HAM radio to supplement COMs for overlanding. However, I am not confident that I can hit a repeater in some locations on 2m, so I want to have a means of communicating on HF bands if needed while in the field. However, like anything else, the more I learn about something, the more interested I get. So I am now considering an all-band or HF mobile radio in my rig. A Buddipole would be a great option for that, as I don't see myself managing QSOs while I am driving. Maybe later, like you've said I can add a mobile HF antenna. I'm planning to try a QRP rig before I get a mobile HF radio. That might be an option in a pinch.

    Happy overlanding!

    Hi Mark -
I've been following your YouTube channel for some time now, and you have given me quite a bit of inspiration. Your work is much appreciated. I am curious about one thing - I see that you have a Yaesu 857D with an LDG antenna tuner, but I'd like to know which antenna you are using with that radio?

    Thanks for your time.

Hello Mark. My name is Matt. I've been a part of your forum for about a year now but I have recently started to modify my Jeep. Extreme Terrain and Quadratec both say we get discounts if we are in a forum but that I would need the password. How can I get this password? Thanks a bunch and happy new year.
