Jedg, I understand you are the man with the plan for the Army Vet banner. I am a former Army EOD technician from 1995-1999 graduated from NAVSCHOLEOD in Indian-head Maryland in 1996. I was then stationed at fort polk with the 45the explosive ordnance disposal detachment which later became the 705th ordnance company once we moved from detachments into companies. First of all, thank you for your service. I was just wanting to touch base with you as well because I figured I'd be speaking to you soon anyway. So here is a basic outline of my service. I can also email a copy of my DD214 if that is necessary. I hate stolen valor just as much as the next Veteran. I'm an O.I.F. VI - VII Veteran. I served in the Army Reserve from March 2005 to April of 2013. I deployed as an 88M10 (Motor Transport Operator) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in May of 2007 and redeployed in June of 2008. My unit (206th Transportation Company) was stationed in Tallil (Ali Air Base) Iraq. We were attached for most of the tour to 82nd Sustainment Brigade.

I am brand new to JKforum and an am an Army active duty member. I am curious about possibly getting the veteran/military icon if possible. Currently, Deployed to Afghanistan. I am a 35P an army linguist. Pashto linguist since 2009. I have been stationed at the Presidio of Montereey, Wiesbaden germany, Goodfellow AFB san Angelo TX, and Fort Gordon, GA. Fort Gordon is my current home station, however it is a little odd since i am part of the 504 based out of FT HOOD. We have a small provisional detachment combined of three companies under the 525th MI BDE who has a main station at FT. Bragg.
