Where is that in spearfish? I'm assuming everyone's bugging out Sunday morning, but Nicole and I are going to stay in the area a few more days and do a little sight seeing. I would like to check that place out! That walkway looks awesome, it reminds me of the "stairway to heaven" on Oahu. My brother and I hiked it about ten years ago now.

I believe it's about a mile down the road behind the visitor center. I've been there a few years ago
Note to everyone checking trails. A few years ago I and Tressa did the honeymoon gulch trail outta spearfish and highly recommend not doing it unless you have chainsaw for downed trees and don't mind a lot for scratches

Yes it's behind the visitor center. There are two waterfalls in Spearfish. Both equally beautiful.
There are a lot of downed trees on all trails this year. The October blizzard took a toll on many of them. The forest service has done pretty good to get out and do a lot of cutting but there's still quite a few over the trails.

Well, unfortunately I'm going to have to bump myself to the maybe list. This is the current state of my jeep and am on a waiting list for new wiring harness & mounts for my 6.2 swap. And also waiting on motor/trans. That being said id like to think she's up and going by the end of June but time will tell.

Ya. I didn't want to tear it apart until I had motor/trans and everything I needed to do the swap sitting here but got a good offer for Ripp, motor, and trans but they needed it for EJS. So pulled it early and now here I am dead in the water. Already missed 2 trips
