Why day you heading out?
If you want a day of a nice day of a drive with lots of varying scenery, this is well worth it, a more relaxing day for Moab.
Dolores River cross the river and goto
Buckhorn Mesa turn right @
Hotel Mesa follow to a R?T @
DS Rd follow to
Sheep Creek into the town of Gateway. If you like nice cars, there is a car museum there. From Gateway goto
Gateway Rd R/T @
Polar Mesa to
Thompson Canyon to
Onion Creek
I'm assuming you have a GPS or GPS enabled Smartphone to load these tracks into.
How about meeting @ SevenMile Rim trailhead @ 9:30 and hitting the trail @ 10 Fri 5/23?
