Default Moab late Feb early March?

I asked this on another thread but got no answers. myself and two buddies are planning on heading to Moab at the end of the month (3 jeeps all have winches etc) cold air temps are not an issue as we are used to sub zereo temps but is there too much snow to enjoy off roading around Moab? I have been there in late march and snow was not an issue but wonder if early March late Feb is a bad idea. Any local Moabites know for sure? Want to do Fins and things and other moderate runs, not the real extreme metal bender type trails tho.

Also plan on tent camping so thinking it would be pretty much wide open for camping this early if that is not the case any good ideas on throwing up tents?

Usually, baring any freek storms, there isn't enough snow at the lower elevations of Moab to hinder some good wheelin.

There are still plenty of areas for tent camping also

This is deja vu as headed to Moab in 3 weeks again. Last time we had 3 jeeps this time 7 jeeps, 4 jku/r's, 2 TJ's and a JKR. Last year we had absolutely perfect weather hoping it is the same this year.

My wife and I are heading to Moab this weekend. We're hitting potash rd and Gemini bridges. Just a quick 2 day event. The weather is supposed to be beautiful.

Heading out in the morning. Weather forecast has gotten worse, but as long as it is not snowing we will be happy.

Headed that way in 17 days with Military Jeepers from Ft Hood, Ft Bliss, Holloman AFB, and JBLM. Looking forward to it.

It's always so much fun there. Post pics.

Just got back had a blast met smittycm (Chris) and wheeled with him. He is a hell of a driver and has a beautiful rig riding on 37's. Hope to get some photos soon but here is a teaser.
