Default 12 inch led bar bright enough to be worth it?

Fellas,

Trying to decide between a 12 or 20 inch single row LED bar to mount to my front PSC brawler lite.

My question is, will the 12" be bright enough for the trail or do I really need a 20"?

Definitely only want to mount it on the bumper so any advice/experience is appreciated!

My buddy has a 10" on his rig and it is crazy bright. Not sure how bright you're looking for but the smaller ones are definitely powerful.

Good to hear...I'm looking for a pretty bright single row in the 12 inch.

What lumen output is your buddy's?

Not sure off the top of my head. It's the Lifetime LED bar though.

Have their 14" light on my expedition one bumper and it is just right. Plenty of light. Sami is very nice to work with.

Is this yours? Got any pics from inside the jeep at night?

I'm in the same boat. I have Peterson Led's and they're pretty impressive on bright - I don't want to spend a bunch of money for a 10" bar if it won't outshine my headlights.

My 10" rigid throws 4000 lumens but it's a double row, plenty of light out front. The single row throws 3750.

Some manufacturers use Epistar LEDs on their double rows but CREE LEDs on their single rows making the single rows put out a good bit more light while only having half the number of diodes. Be sure to look into the specifics before making your decision.
