2.5 vs 3.5 RK Lift on 35s [Opinions and pics please]
First off i am settled on the RK lift. Just thinking it over between the two now. I have been seeing the 3.5 lift out there for the same price as the 2.5. Now i just wanted to hear some of your opinions as to what would look better or be better in the long run with running 35s. I also did the DIY flat fender mod so i know i would be able to fit 37s even with the 2.5 inch lift but wouldnt have much flexing room as if i had 35s. I wont be going over 35s so i just wanted to see what you guys thought about 3.5 vs 2.5 them that setup?
Questions?
-Also would i have to replace the driveshaft immediately with the 3.5 inch lift ? I know i do not have too immediately with the 2.5 but will down the road.
-What else should i think about buying or MUST buy if i went the 3.5 route instead of the 2.5 ?
Already know i will have to get the following
-Exhaust Spacers
-Gears 4.88

Going over 2.5 and 35 will requires a lot more investment to keep a decent ride on road.
You will need driveshafts, axles reinforcements, steering upgrades, Adjustable control arms and track bars and so on.
on a 2013 2 doors I would go with a 2.5'' coils lift and keep as much stock stuff as possible.
A good 2.5'' coil lift from RK, AEV, MC, Terraflex, synergy should be just fine.
They are easily upgradable and with 35, flat fenders and the right shocks you can adjust your bumpstops to obtain close to 12'' of travel.
Now RK kits come with triple rate coils, I would definitively look in those along with Fox Shocks.

Im going with the X factor kit regardless of which one i do. I don't like getting BASIC kits. Driveshafts will be replaced later on down the road or if i have to immediately. Im just more concerned about the steering components and other stuff the lifts do not come with that SHOULD be done at the same time.

I went with the 2.5 X-Factor on my '07 2 door, and I cannot say enough good things about it. I paired it with a set of the Bilstein 5100 long travel shocks. The ride is outstanding. It actually netted closer to 3.25" than 2.5" though, and I am fully outfitted with F&R AEV bumpers, and a Warn Zeon 10s winch.

That looks awesome man. Have any wheeling or flexing pics with it? Also have you had any problems hitting the exhaust at full droop ?

Currently running 35" tires. The best part about the 2.5 RK lift is, it's upgradeable to the 3.5" by changing out the coils. You can also upgrade to any of the other kits, but more part swapping would be necessary.

-CAs are same size between 2.5-3.5 ? I know i would need to have them re adjusted though.
-Swaybar link will need to be longer as well ?
- Trackbar brackets should be good for up the 5.5 lift.

I haven't gotten it in the rocks yet. The time is approaching though!! I didn't want to risk bending the axle tubes on my front Dana 30. However...I picked up a Rubicon Dana 44 front axle this week! Taking it to get trussed whenever I get off work next week. It will then...be ooon!! These pics are the best shots of flex that I have in it. The only rubbing I've experienced is very slight at full lock when I'm turning. Nothing bad though.

Sweet thanks man. As for upgrading to the 3.5 later on what all would need to be done? I know coils and shocks but what else? The CAs are all the same size so its just a matter of adjusting them.
