2015 alpine option
I just purchased a new jk with the alpine option and RES head unit. In Bluetooth phone and music mode it is only playing the left side speakers. It's been in the shop 3 times. They ordered new speakers...didn't fix it. They told me it may just be the way the Bluetooth works...I need someone with a 2015 res head unit and alpine speakers to help me.

All the speakers should work bluetooth or not! If they think it "may just be" they don't know crap or they don't want to deal with it and are hoping you go away. Make them fix it. Call Chrysler Corporate if they give you a run around.

Just in case it's something obvious that's been overlooked.... Did you check to make sure that the Balance is not set to full Left side? Push in on the Tuner knob and cycle to the balance/fade options to double-check.

2015 JKUR with Alpine and RES/Uconnect here. None of my speakers cut out but the buzzing is HORRID when using Bluetooth or the USB with my iPhone 5s & a high end lightning cable. I've messed with all the settings & it's still obnoxious. It's bad enough that I'm thinking about changing up some mod plans and swapping the head unit.

Veering off topic a bit but I've had buzzing through a cable aux input and it turned it to be dirty power to the source. Once I unplugged from the charger the buzzing went away.
Sound like the dealer confirmed your trouble, but have you tried a different Bluetooth source to rule out your phone?

Sounds to me like the head unit or the phone. Bluetooth technology is better than it use to be but still buggy. Try a different type of phone if it doesn't work I would bet money on the head unit. The dealership has to be stupid for trying speakers if they work on every other source duhhhh it's not the speakers.
