Default 275/70r18 vs 285/75r18 on sahara wheels with 2.5" lift

I have been constantly researching these combinations for about a week now. I'm about to install the OME 2" heavy lift on my JKU, but I am stuck as to which tires I want to install. I only have the 3.21 gears so I'm afraid to go too big, but I also dont want my Jeep to look awkward with tires that are too small. I would really appreciate if somebody could post their pictures of either tire combination or suggest an even better tire size. These two combinations I've been looking at the most. I'm leaning towards the 275's because I'm not sure if I can justify the outrageous cost difference between the two.

Just for the heck of it, I went with 275x65R18 without spending money on a lift. Gave me better tires, the look I wanted, and money left over in my pocket!

275/70r18 on sahara wheels. 2" synergy springs. these pics are from immediately after install and had not settled. i have 1.5" spacers. 3.21 gears are fine with these but at the limit. i will put 295/70r18 coopers on them next year and will regear to 4.10 or 4.56 TDB.

These are 285/75R17's on mine with a 2" mopar lift. Except for the wheel diameter, should look similar to what yours would look like. I have the Rubicon 4:10 gears so they aren't an issue. The performance did drop a little with the 2" larger tires and the heavier bumpers and tire carrier.

295/70r18s on 3.21 gears for 100,000 miles+ 2.5 teraflex BB. Don't be afraid. It's going to be a bit sluggish but you didn't buy it to win races. I'm a hwy driver I can still use 6th gear on flat roads going 70. You'll never regret getting bigger tires.
