4.56s would be better but it isn't bad around town in nice, flat Florida. I reprogrammed the computer for tire size and therefore shift points. That helped a lot. A little sluggish off the line. But when I vacationed in the mountains it wouldn't upshift into overdrive going up the long slopes. For particularly steep mountains, it wouldn't even shift into fourth sometimes.

Thank you
If you're wanting a beefy "look" (ahem mall crawler ) then go with 37's on the 20's or 35's on 18's. Anytime I see a 4X4 without much tire sidewall and big rims I think mall crawler. Then again if you're going for looks and don't care about being capable offroad then go for it.

That Zone lift is a F'n joke. The springs sag quickly and for the included parts it should only be a 2.5" lift. It's like the RC lifts that lure in newbs because of the price. Far incomplete and mediocre quality. Do it right the first time.

I'd avoid the 20" wheels like the plague. 20" tires are ridiculously priced and suck off road. Go with 17s.

For light wheeling I think it would be good. I have their 2.5 with Synergy steering goodies and it's been great.

Just a pic for ya. Friend of mine has a zone 4" lift on 35" Trail Grapplers. White jeep on the left.

One on the right has a stock lift on 37's...

I really enjoy mine. Has held up well, no sagging at all. A bit more firm than stock. Onroad manners/handling are actually improved.

Still will run more than 95% of the trails out there. Clears 35" tires with ease. Flat fenders and should clear 37s.

Seems I ended up closer to 3.75" of lift. Doesn't sit high in front or rear. Sits close to level. I'd say it cut the factory rake in half, maybe? It comes with flip kit and several other doo-dads that keep it driving well. Comes with the procal to adjust tiresize and a few other things.

It uses your stock control arms which some don't like. It uses drop brackets to correct back to proper angles which many don't like.

I like them as it maintains a quiet ride that is LOW maintenance. If I wheeled monthly, I'd probably get aftermarket control arms; but I don't, so I won't.

Be honest with what you'll use it for and go from there. Didn't make sense for me to drop coin on arms that I don't/won't benefit from.

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

I know the AEV 3.5 will do more than light wheeling.

The OP said the JK he's building will only do light wheeling.
