aev geo correction bracket question.
Hey guys, im on a little bit more of a budget than I hoped to be for my lift so my question is, how many people are using the geometry corretion brackets on another brand 2.5 lift, im considering using them with the rubicon express lift instead of the cam washers that it comes with, or another 2.5 inch lift in that price range if anyone has any input I would greatly appreciate it. Id like to get the best ride for around $600 bucks. Thanks yall

Good stuff, works well and priced fairly. If you ever want to sell them, it takes a day or two on the forum and you barely lose anything.
I'd definitely do those over the Rancho version for the adjustability. I think the Rancho is a better product, but it failed for not being adjustable.

You won't be sorry. I've run them for a couple of years and they work well. Lots of people will say you lose clearance but here in Colorado we have a few rocks and the clearance you lose is negligible and I've had mine on many of our toughest trails. Good luck.

I would also recommend them, Ive been running them with my RK 2.5 kits and jeep rides very well, and they seem fine offered as well. I would def recommend NOT doing the cam bolts.

I would recommend them as well, I've been running the rough country version of this product for almost 2 years on my jeep. Recommend the AEV ones for the adjustment.
Nice ride improvement on road, and slowly all my friends are adding them to their jk's or the daily driver comfort.

Rubicon Express is a budget lift, so you do get what you pay for, which isn't much.
As soon as you start monkeying around with any suspension components, you affect many other things, I am sure you are aware. If you haven't done a ton of research, I wouldn't buy anything until you have. Know what you are getting yourself into. Read TheDirtman's thread on lifts. Then read a bunch more. Be skeptical about any opinion or sales pitch. Get involved with a local group of Jeepers and learn from them first hand.
I spent a year trying to figure out the right lift for me, and it was a Rock Krawler X-Factor 2.5". I spent a crap load of money on it and a crap load of time installing it, but it is the right choice for ME. The right choice for you may and likely will be different. I compromised in the meantime with a budget boost (spacer/leveling kit), sway bar disconnects and flat fenders. I was able to run 35" tires and wheel some rocks with no problems. Once I figure out what I really wanted, I didn't feel like I wasted any money on a lift, just because it was cheap.
For ME, the AEV brackets aren't a good fit. They hang too low and can get caught on rocks. Here's a good thread on these that is still developing, but is an interesting read:

I'm sure you'll figure out the right choice for you and for what you want to do with your Jeep.
