Do you guys have any issues with the Trail Grapplers weight? Eg; bogging down the motor, wearing out brakes faster ect.
I love the look of the Toyo MT. But The weight, and price of the MTR sales itself.
I'm buying a package deal from TirePackage most likely, and I plan on pulling the trigger September 1st. (Currently out of town for work, plan on coming home to some goodies.)

I don't notice any more than any other 35. They are on the heavy side but they are worth it. I have put my trail graps through some nasty rocks and trails and they hold up great and grab really well when aired down. I'm sold on Nitto.

I went w/ the Fierce Attitude very happy with them Perform great in the mud and very nice on the paved road
It was the most affordable tire that i could find that fit my needs.

I think I have the cheapest 35's made. Period. Haha.
Gladiator MT Q9000. 35x12.50-18. $160 ea. not a retread. They are "Ecosafe" and made from a high silica compound and have been on for about 10,000 miles now with VERY LITTLE WEAR. traction is great so far. Pulled out some trucks with Nitto Terra Grappler tires that were stuck. My cheapies had no problems in the same mud.
I'll buy them again, when needed, at least so far. If one has a catastrophic failure between now and then I might change my mind. But so far they are great. Look great too.

I ran those on my first xterra, they wore quick (though I beat the hell out of them). They got loud after about 15k miles. They were a fantastic mild mud tire though. I only had to be pulled out once, and that was more because of the fact that I ran up onto a log at a fairly "quick" rate of speed in a mud hole, causing my truck to get high centered. Great tire though, I just with they would get rid of the barb-wire bull crap on the side wall. These are mud tires, not a early 90's tribal tattoo.

How tall are the Fierce tires measured on the vehicle? Also, I can get the General grabber MT tire with the red letters for about $180 to the door because of a connection at the factory. If I can be all in at $900 or less would that make this tire more attractive or would you still pay the $1700 a set for something else? They wouldn't be on my short list but the price might move them to the top!
