Default Best way to remove powdercoat on steel bumper

So a couple years ago I picked up a Crawler Coceptz Skinny Series front bumper.

The shop that coated it for me did a terrible job and it has started to rust and chip.

Long story short, I need to strip the powdercoat off and remove the rust so that I can get it recoated (might do rhino lining). I've used aircraft paint remover before for valve covers that were painted, but never on PC. Any recommendations as the best way to remove the powdercoat?

Taking it to a powder coater and having it media blasted is the easiest way. Otherwise, you'll be using flapper wheels and abrading it off for the most part, and you'll have a heck of a time in corners and such. Media blasting is the hot ticket.

I used rustoleum aircraft remover on my six year old bumpers this winter. It loosened up the powercoat to make grinding it off with a wheel much easier. I didnt want to pay someone to sandblast it

I may take it back to the shop that originally powdercoated it for me and have them sandblast it. They owe me that much.

If that was powder coated they did a piss poor shitty job. I had suspension parts coated and never had that happen years down the road.
