Default BFG T/A KO2 All Terrain

BFG has just launched the redesign of their T/A KO. We had a chance to run the new BFG T/A KO2 for over 350 miles in Baja Mexico earlier this week. Before we tell you what we thought we'd love to hear what your initial thoughts are.

Here's a quick pic from our ride (more to follow) and a video that was posted on BFG's YouTube Channel.

Wow, the more agressive sidewalls make it look nice and up to compete with the Duratracs.

Can't wait to see the price. If they are just a little cheaper to buy than the Duratracs, they will be very serious competitors.

Advert was pretty good. I can't imagine 15% longer tread life. The set I had on my ZJ wouldn't die.

Sizing? Price? That will be key.

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

Looks like it would probably be a good "all around" tire. I hope that they balance easily. It also appears they did some R&D on these and hope it's not just marketing hype. I ran the original KO and was not impressed with it in any situation. I couldn't really understand it's popularity besides ridiculous longevity. Glad to see the snowflake symbol on them with a fairly aggressive tread pattern. I'm interested in reviews when some people get them on the trail.

I am also interested in these but on the website I was seeing load range E. That's stiff for a Jeep.

Sizes and MSRP are on the manufacturers website. I'm interested in the 34x10.5R17.

UPDATE:

BFG will release their new All-Terrain T/A KO2 in two phases. Phase one(1) is scheduled for November 2014
and phase two(2) is scheduled for March and April 2015.

In other news, BFG dropped a new All-Terrain T/A KO2 tire from 10,000 feet and drove away on it.
Guess the spot on Playground Earth it hit and you could win a set for yourself.
