Default Broken Windshield

I have a cracked windshield that started from the lower middle and wiring its way to the side. You can tell that it obviously wasn't a rock or chip. I called the dealer and they tell me that it's on me cause windshields are only covered for 12/1yr instead of the 36/36 bumper to bumper. I only have 27000 and had the car for 30 months. Does this sound right, they want $220 to replace.

I bet we have the same crack running through our windshields, mine also started lower middle and snaked its way up about 3 inches, took a left going almost all the way across drivers side. Just bad glass use by jeep.
I pay extra for glass insurance, just waiting for the roads to be cleaned before i replace...

That's a good price.

Insurance won't cover it?

I called insurance and have to pay deductible to replace it. Either way I found several shops that will replace it for $135 or $195 with jeep logo. Thanks for the replies.

Some shops will pay the deductible, making the replacement free to the customer.
