Default Bushwacker flat fender flares = I've never cursed more in my life

So I've now spent about two hours breaking the bolts with nylock washers to remove them because they wont tighten down without stripping. No they are not cross threaded! What the hell! Am I freaking cursed or has anyone else had problems with their hardware? This is after having ditched the splashguards cause they were a pain in the ass and cursing for about an hour trying to get the holes on the driver side flare to line up with the speed nuts. Someone please pray for me, I'm bleeding and throwing tools. On to booze.

Mine went on pretty damn easy. Not to be mean or whatever but are you sure that you are doing it right? And what nylock nuts are you breaking?

Mine were installing pretty easy actually. Looks like I'll be running fenderless for a while though. Started installing the bushwackers today, ripped the old ones off, and when my wife left in her jeep, she backed over the new ones :| Anybody have a free front set? smh

Breaking the bolts that fasten the fender brackets to the front quarter panel. The nuts are locking nuts and some wont tighten all the way down without snapping the bolt. Used lock washers and regular nuts and was able to finish. The freaking speed nuts would not stay lined up either, every time I put the fender on it would move them misaligning the holes.

the bolt patterns on those flares are just too ugly for my taste.

These are the flats. Not the pocket style.
