I sure hope you have that backwards. Should be 5 degrees of caster, not pinion.

Nope not backwards. Caster is 1*+ and its hands off the wheel stable at 70-75mph

I thinks was said you have them backwards I have never heard of 1*caster handling well at freeway speeds. Think of a shopping cart.

Maybe my jeep is straighter than most. Maybe it's the pull from my front truetrac keeping it straight. I know I asked the initial question but I think after my experience it's clear that only trial and error can find proper alignment to modified rigs. There is no 1 answer that's going to suit all jeeps. I had my alignment done at 4wheel parts Tampa. I asked for caster 1 and they gave me caster 1.

Can you post pics of your front pinion angle?

I'd love to see the alignment print out. Trutrac should not be coming in to play.

I had to view the results on the monitor. Printer was broken. Before alignment caster was 3.9 after 1. I'll see if I can get a photo later, at work now.

I cannot fathom this. And your jeep being "straighter than most" has nothing to do with the situation, nor does that make any sense. Most of us have experience of what it feels like to put on a lift and have really low caster numbers. Usually around 3 or less the steering starts feeling so flighty that you have to bring a change of underwear to drive 100 yards. Okay I'm exaggerating. But what you are saying makes no sense. I'd love to see the printout as well. Yes, every jeep is "different" but that means dialing on caster somewhere between 4 and 5 degrees. Not 1. I'm not trying to be rude or mean... I just cannot wrap my head around what you are saying.
