I've seen a lot of Challengers do that with the Hemi. It gives it a clean look. Great job.

if its really built up greasy some dawn dish soap will cut through it. just make sure to bag off your air filter before you go to town with a hose.

I am interested in the painted engine cover. What is involved prep wise? Do I just need plastic primer and paint?

Love the cover, I use a mild degreaser some brushes and dry it with a metro vac. Then top it with Aerospace 303, looks brand new.

If there is oil residue or grease fix the problem first. I would always clean my engine bay but it still would look like shit after. I finally fix the front main seal and valve cover gaskets. 10x better now

I've had good results with using Simple Green non diluted straight outta the spray bottle, spray everything down, let sit for a few mins, and hose off

Sorry, I don't know how I missed this message! I have a painting business and specialize in custom engine covers for the F-150 Ecoboost and am now expanding to other vehicles. I sent you a PM with some more info. Thanks
