I'm debating going through the tub or not I have an 07 and want to run 16s. How would you do it if you could do it again?

Depending on axle width id notch the tallest tower i could find into the frame. Invest did this on wide axles and ringer did it on stock width. Thru the body wastes inside storage space and can be a pain to seal in from the elements while still allowing the coilover to move as the axle shifts (how much its shifts will depend on link setup also fyi)
They will both work, but imo outside the body looks cleaner.. Not sure if invest and ringer choose to get around 10 to 15 angle on there coilovers or not but that may be harder on outside the tub, but id sacrifice the angle to not mess with the tub.

I'm on stock width axles and long arms with track bar, later on I will do a rear mounted fuel tank and triangulate the upper links. I understand all the pros and cons of both inside and outside frame rails for my set-up and will look more into it before I decide. What is the 10 - 15 that you are talking about? Is that the angle of the coilovers leaning forward?

I like how ringer did his I can still run my stock axles till I can afford 60s. It looks clean on the inside too. I need to beable to have my rear seat for my daughter. I'll be starting in the next few months I'll probably have a ton of questions for y'all. Especially with with going either 3 link or triangulated 4 link and not going to a fuel cell behind the seat

You can do 14 inch coil over up front with 5 inch lift without leaving your wheel well. That is what I ended up with. That said, using progressive springs you can get 12 inches of travel in the front without going with coil overs.
I went down the coilover path just because i moved to a super 60 axle up front.
Sorry edit to add clarification.

Really considering coilovers soon. Hoping this thread keeps going as I get closer to pulling the trigger. I am still hard pressed to go with bolt on from evo, rebel, or possibly icon, but I have started looking at Synergy's options for weld on... Looking at mostly sand dunes rather than rock crawling.
