Default Coming to my jk this weeked CORE 44

Well, I bought a core 44 from G2... its in my garage as I type... but I'll be taking some pics and giving you a review as I go along.

It's replacing a dana 30 that I have babied and worked on for over 4 years... The 30 has rcv's , homemade truss, gussets, syenergy ball joints, arb cover, zytanimum cross pin, 5:13's... all of it done on my own gradually as I built it up.

The core 44 is huge next to it.... I got the core 44 for 4024 dollars shipped to my home. IT was fully assembled C to C .... placer gold 35 spline shafts, spicer full clip u joints, forged c's, ball joints... all mounting points are twice as thick as stock, built in skids on conrol arms and the bottom of the housing. 5:13's, and ected electric locker. gears set, housing wired, ready to install.

If I can get 1500 or so out of the 30, my toal cost will be about 2500 for the upgrade.

you will be amazed at the difference in the size of these two housings next to each other. The welds are perfect, powdercoated, and lots of stainless steel parts as well. It looks very strong thus far!

Pics are coming! I'll be working on it on friday!

Subscribed.

Definitely interested in hearing more about this upgrade. I'd like to throw on D60's if the cost aren't much greater than a PR44. Regardless it sounds as though your D30 sounds beefy.

We installed their axles (Dana 44) on one of our projects. Just the housings though.
It is on 37's and running a V8/.
No issues so far.

Hard to see but it is on the Commando (Orange Jeep)

Gonna start turning wrenches tonight... doing the work by myself, and I am slow... I grease and paint everything... have a small garage... and find it something I do to relax... never in a hurry, always torque everything. clean everything... and double check everything.

My next post will have pics...

The other stuff on the front end: Northridge swaybar links, Syenergy tie rod and drag link, Clayton track bar, fox stabilizer, rubicon swaybar disconnect, teraflex spring retainers, King shocks, Rock Krawer 4inch lift with mid-length arms, all stock knuckles and hubs... brakes...

I'll let you know if I find any problems, the good the bad, the fit... etc.... the clearance... the width...

If you want a pic of something specificly, I will try to get it for you.

I'll try to be worthy of the thread...lol.

Been running a core 44 with ARB, 35 spline placer shafts since spring. No issues and very well made. I priced this against a pr44 and with the deal I got I couldn't pass it up and glad I didnt.

ID:	627603 I left it sitting on the crate... doing this alone, so this means I have the ability to connect all the arms and such while it was on the ground. Put a jack under it and move on to springs!
