Default Dana 60 help

I've got my hands on a 1999 f250 sd. I'm looking to do a axle swap to get rid of my dinky little d30 in the front. I need help getting everything together. I'm not sure what all I need too do the swap. I looked at artec and found their swap truss kits but other than that I'm pretty lost... I don't know what kind of brake lines, steering brackets, abs, gears, teeth, or really anything else except the truss. I will find a fab shop to do all the welding but other than that I'm lost. If y'all could please reply and tell me what I need to get ordered to have this swap ready to go. Ready to get too some heavy wheeling. I have a 2011 jk on a 4.5 aev lift w 4.88 gearing for 37s.

did you try searching? there are several threads out there on this along with what you need. The truss is not really something you need but if it makes you feel better have one then great.

If you have the axle did it come with the Calipers, Rotors etc.. I know synergy makes a HD bracket kit for Axles. You should look into that or you can just cut all the brackets off the Dana 30 single tac weld bracketry on for fitment. I got a buddy with a YJ that has a bad ass setup.

Like Dirtman said. Do a search and you'll find a bit of reading. Also contact Fusion4×4 as they are very knowledgeable in this area.

These axles are fully assembled and I'll be pulling them right off a barely running 99 f250
