Default Fender flare accidentally partially removed.

Has anyone had to put their flares back on. The wife hit a yellow pole, it dented but also half of it is off. Will I have to go to Mopar for new plastic mounting pins?

I've read that the flares are removable in case of mishaps and if 'dented' they would come back into shape with a low heat source such as a propane torch. The article appeared in a truck mag and I forget which one... so I can't say it's totally credible but it sounded like the author was claiming that this is what DC told him.
Hope this helps.
