When doing a tire rotation (still sitting here) today the guy pointed out only two of my tires had Hubcentric rings and one wasn't even inside the hub, but was sitting loose. I never experienced any shaking before and hope not to when I leave here. Are these necessary? And if so, where can I get another set?

Just took it back out on the Turnpike and got her up to 75-80 with no issues.
I see the hub rings are cheap and I'm guessing pretty easy to put on with a rubber mallet. I have a 10 month old and want to be as safe as possible. Let me know what you guys think.

Are they for backspacing like the spidertrax spacer? If not toss them if they are just limiting the amount of thread on your lugs. Nothing wrong with proper spacers but the ones that looks like washers shouldn't be trusted

The only hub-centric mainstream wheels that I know of are AEV and stock. Almost every other aftermarket wheel is lug-centric so if one wanted to be real particular about it, they could get hub-centric rings to make it so. But I've not seen a rash (or any) of lug-centric wheels breaking lugs off, so I would just toss the rings you have that don't fit properly and ride on.

Ah, well, there ya go. Even less reason to worry about the rings.
