tire weight is of course going to depend on rim size. here's a few based on a 17" rim:

35x12.50R17 unless noted

Cooper STT's - 68lbs
Hercules Trail Digger M/T - 62lbs
Toyo M/T - 79lbs
BFG KM2's- 67lbs
Goodyear Duratrac-(315/70R17) - 60lbs
Goodyear MTR- 64lbs
Dunlop Mud Rover - 56lbs
Nitto Trail Grappler- 79lbs
Nitto Mud Grappler - 81lbs
Mickey T MTZ's - 68lbs
Pitbull Rockers - 85lbs
Deck Cepek Mud Country - 78lbs

37s based on 17" wheel

Toyo M/T's (37x13.50R17) - 93lbs
BFG KM2's- 71lbs
Goodyear MTR- 74lbs
Nitto Trail Grappler-85lbs
Nitto Mud Grappler (37x13.5R17) - 90lbs Mickey T' MTZ's - 83lbs
Pitbull Rockers - 90lbs

So with your numbers I can go from an unmounted 35 nitto trail that weighs 79 then go to a mounted 37 and gain 6 lbs?. Funny the toyo that weighed the same in 35's gained 14 in a 37...

35 unmounted to 37 mounted and only gain 6 lbs? nope. these are all unmounted tire weights...i also found it surprising that there is only a 6lb gain from a 35 to 37. the Toyo is a 1350 so maybe that would explain a 14lb increase?

Just so you know, Nittos are made here in the USA. I just bought a set of 37's and weighed them on a scale to get an actual weight. They all were exactly 83.5 lbs.
