H4's and 2014 JKUS
I've been looking at a huge amount of threads regarding the H4 headlight upgrade and was getting ready to pull the pin when I read a couple of post that said that the 2014 headlights were already bright. I spend a lot of time on the highway and yes the stock lights are ok but I'm just wondering if going to the Hella or Cibe with H4 would brighten things up just a bit more which is what I want. Not looking for LED's or expensive options..If I do switch it will be to a new lens and H4 type bulb

I switched my 2012 JK to Cibie's, 100/55W Narva bulbs, and Rallylights harness. It's a huge difference. The light output is much cleaner and with an even spread, no hotspots or strange artifacts like the stock lights. I don't have any experience with Trucklites so I can't compare the two. My only issue with any LED is that they usually have too cool of a color temperature, which is fatiguing to the eyes.

I can tell you from personal experience the Susquehanna motorsports harness and hella e codes are a brighter and all around better light pattern than the trucklights. When I got my 13 I immediately put the h4 kit in. Well then I got led happy and wanted my headlights to match my other lights. I was did disappointed from day one. I just recently switched back to the h4 and couldn't be happier

Mark Dorian uses IPF, and loves them. He says there is a noticeable difference. Their is another brand too which is basically the same thing but a little cheaper. I think they are sub-$100

I have the IPF kit from northridge and it's a huge improvement.
