Probably the best advice yet... probably use wrenches 10mm to 19mm the most. Also a metric socket set would not hurt either. I personally like the ratcheting wrenches the most.

Drive it as it is and save your money for cheap dates with the ladies. Offroading to the back of a lake or remote spot is a free date (less gas)

There are many ways to use your Jeep, much depending on where you live and how much you can afford to travel. A stock Jeep is quite capable. Take it out and see what it can do. Learn its shortcomings for what you do, and come back and ask how folks fixed those. As fun as modding a Jeep is, it's a lot more fun to use one.
