Default New here, swapped out lifts

New to the forum, but been offraoding for a decade. Just never joined the forums but have always gotten a lot of info from these forums, so that I thank you guys for.

I currently own a 2012 JKUR and a 2020 JTR. Both lifted, 37s and all.

Currently just swapped out my old AEV 2.5" lift (+ 1" spacers front, /75" spacers back) for the MOPAR 4" lift. I working some tuning issues, the front reservoirs touching the tires on flex, rear track bar contacting the track bar nut etc...nothing a few changes won't fix like relocating the reservoir and setting the pinion angle.

Just thought I'd share. Desert shot of the JK is the "before" shot with the AEV setup. Driveway shot is the new setup.

Both are very nice looking jeep. How do the ride compare between the Mopar and AVE lift?

Thank you.

Definitely a smoother ride but not leaps and bounds yet. Altho I only have about 40 miles on it. Also clearly had more flex.

Just a heads up. That steering stabilizer has been known to push. It may cause your Jeep to pull left. I had one and it did. Sold it and deleted the stabilizer all together.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep a lookout...so far so good.

The drag link sleeve and torque felt really tight too, but overall steering has been smooth so far.

Ooh I like that slot size in the JT grille. Would be nice to have that size in JK's.

Yeah I like them a lot too...they're even larger than the JL grill too. Much better. I don't like the JK grill really...too squared off and the slots should bulge into the lights like the JLs...the real Jeep grill should be more heart shaped and the JK went away from that for some reason. So I removed the "JEEP" logo off the front of the grill to at least help some.

We've got a member here who designs cool stuff and gives it away to aftermarket companies, he's created a JL grille for the JK.
