I just bought a Yakima roof rack for my JKUR, and it howls like a banshee in the wind. Anyone else had this or found a way to fix it? Click image for larger version

Have you tried running without the box to see if that is the source of your wind noise? I have the same towers/bars on my JKU, and found that wrapping the front bar helps a fair amount. This pic is of the same bars on my old car, but you can get the idea. It's just bungee by-the-foot from Ace that I crimped on the ends.

i was gonna say, ya the noise had to be the wind squishing between the hard top and the soccor mom mini van box on your roof, it was compressing the wind and accelerating it, causing a howl, ferring was a good fix for that.
