My buddy broke a stock rear axle shaft running 37's bfh's on slabs. Tire popped at gate keeper in calico and got too much traction and Broke it a few inches away from the carrier and bent the splines and wasn't able to take out the broken piece so he had to replace the whole axle because the carrier was toast, rubi 44 rear.

On 35s and built d44s. Ive ripped link mounts off, bent both rear axle shaft flanges, blew a front axle shaft. Bjs did not last long. Bent tie rods/drag links. Bent all 4 shocks, bent control arms, and broke one driveshaft u joint wich i believe was due to improper torque on the u bolt. Thats all i can think of at the moment... Luckily no pumpkin issues, and i also got tired of it and upgraded.. I also wheel nowhere near as hard as some people here...

Bent both of rear axle flanges on a stock D44 running 35's. Also broke 2 OEM drive shafts with a 3" lift and 35's. I forgot that I bent my tie rod and destroyed 2 steering stabilizers.

You just need to power up the stick welder and increase the amount of weld per square inch. Mo steel, mo welds

I feel like I'm never allowed to complain about breaking anything ever again. Also I see that no matter how much I pour into the Jeep I'll still find ways to break stuff.

I broke 6 u-joints, 3 front axle shafts, twisted the splines on one other shaft, and snapped my ball joints off running 35's with an open diff on a stock D30. I also bent a drag link and tie rod.

I've replaced customer spider gears in a D30 and rear D44 running 37's.

I've also had a customer break a rear chromoly axle shaft and ruin his ARB in the rear D44.

I'm sure I've seen more just can't think of it at the moment.

Stock Dana 30 with 285/75R16

broke passenger side u-joint and axle shafts while doing a small hill climb

While stuck in my backyard stream ripped all or part of about 11 teeth off the D30 ring gear while at the same time blowing out both outer wheel bearings in the rear D44. Jeep Mama grounded me after that one, I wasn't allowed to go off-roading for over a year.

My wife and I had the "Discussion" yesterday.
Her: Do you know how much you have spent on the Jeep in the past three months?
Me: Nope, haven't even thought about it.
Her: Do you want to figure it up?
Me: No.
Her: Well, there was $4500 dollars for your lift and wheels, $3000 for the bumpers, $3300 for the Regear, (that included airlockers front and back, but she doesn't know that), $500 for the little stuff. That makes $12,000. How much more do you plan on spending?
Me: Enough to have it right.
Her: I think you should stop now, and only make repairs.
Me: Okay.

Can someone educate me on what an axle flange is? Stupid question I'm sure.
